The genes to be examined should be entered as either a list of gene names (separated by spaces, new lines, or semicolons), or as a set of FASTA sequences. FASTA sequence format starts with a line containing ">genename", followed by a series of lines containing the actual DNA sequence for that gene. Instead of entering this information in the text box to the right, you can store that information in a text file on your computer and then select the file by choosing the "Browse" button in the next row.
